A Little About Me:

Formally, my name is Anastasia, but my friends and colleagues call me Chloe. I studied Computer Engineering at Iowa State University and am moving on to work for BAE Systems in the Navigation and Sensor Systems department. I have an active Secret level clearance and work with GPS receivers. Outside of working and studying, I enjoy playing the piano, reading, cooking, and snowboarding. I am always looking for a new adventure, and I love spending time with my friends and family.

BAE SYSTEMS • Electronic Systems, Navigation & Sensor Systems • Software Engineering • May 2019 – Present

I started working at BAE Systems, formerly Collins Aerospace, in May of 2019. I received a Software Engineering Co-op in the SATNAV department and have been working with GPS receivers. Throughout my time at Collins, I learned about the software design process, agile practices, as well as many other engineering techniques.

While working at Starbucks and making coffee may not seem relevant to a career in Computer Engineering, I am very thankful for all of the experiences I gained while there. During my time at Starbucks, I learned how to maintain a professional work ethic, help people, and work as a team.

My Educational Experiences:

Iowa State University • Computer Engineering • August 2016 – December 2020

While attending Iowa State University, I have become involved in numerous clubs around campus as well as student government. I was elected president of my hall for both my freshman and sophomore years. I am an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Women In Science and Engineering (WISE), and the Women’s Alliance for Cybersecurity (WACS). As a member of WACS, I attended the 2018 Human Rights in the Digital Age Summit: RightsCon, in Toronto, Canada.

Below is a picture of me teaching the members of WACS about Metasploit:

Other Opinions:

“Chloe is a natural teacher. If you are in need of technical assistance, I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
